Sam Agreement

An intergovernmental entity is a governmental authority constituted by an agreement between two or more States of the United States of America. These facilities are often responsible for managing or improving a shared resource, such as a seaport or public transport infrastructure. This section describes the process for registering an entity to qualify for federal support. “Federal Assistance”, as defined in this User Guide, is federal financial assistance. For example, a grant, cooperation agreement or loan recipient is considered a recipient of federal financial assistance.
